D&D minis: Undead

IMG_6919

For Halloween I’ve posted some horrible undead creatures for your D&D game. Take a closer look at the abominations here:

That’s a Skeleton Warrior, a Flameskull, a Lich, a goblin skeleton, two zombies, a dracolich, and a zombie ogre.

You can download and print out a PDF of these skeletons and zombies here:

Undead printable minis

Just cut them out along the thick lines, fold along the thin lines, and tape the bottoms together. It works best if you print on cardstock, and if you tape a penny to the inside to keep them from blowing over.

You can see all my previous minis by clicking here.

If you think these are useful and you’d like to donate a dollar or two, that would be very cool!

Commissions: If you’d like me to draw a mini of your character, send an email with a description to comics at billroundy dot com! It’ll cost $10, or I’ll draw a party of 5 characters for $40.

I used to have it all to myself!

That’s the Croxley Abbey detailed earlier.

They’re obviously doing it just to spite me

(actual answer: life drawing is about realism; cartooning is about simplification)

Here are 2 of my drawing from that night:

D&D minis: Cult of the Dragon

image

I’ve drawn a bunch of miniatures of Dragon Cultists. They’re based on the bad guys in the Hoard of the Dragon Queen adventure, but I’m sure you’ll be able to use them for whatever evil demon-worshippers you’ve got in your home campaign.

Here’s a closer look:

D&D Minis: Modrons

I love modrons, so I made some paper miniatures so I could use them in my home game.

modron-photo

That’s a monodrone, tridrone, quadrone, quadrone enforcer (4 quadrones combined), and Modron Hierarch (dodecodrone).

(I did not include the duodrone because it is stupid.)

You can download and print out the minis here:

Modrons part 1 (PDF)

Modrons part 2 (PDF)

Because the Modron Hierarch has 12 faces (a feature I shamelessly ripped off from The Phantom Tollbooth), I made this chart to use during my game. At the start of the Modron Hierarch’s turn, roll a d12 to determine his personality:

  1. Happy
  2. Sad
  3. Angry
  4. Bored
  5. Disgusted
  6. Shy
  7. Stern
  8. Condescending
  9. Suspicious
  10. Frightened
  11. Surprised
  12. Drunk

Up next: some cultists and thugs you can use in Hoard of the Dragon Queen.

Check out previous minis: PCs, Kobolds, and Bullywugs.

D&D minis: Bullywugs!

bullywugs-in-action

I’ve drawn some more printable miniatures for D&D! This time, I made a few different kinds of bullywugs, and their giant frog ally.

I used these guys in the “Toadwallow Caverns” portion of the Reavers of the Harkenwold 4E adventure. It also looks like they’ll turn up in Hoard of the Dragon Queen adventure!

You can download the minis here:

I’ve also drawn some Player Characters and Kobolds.

D&D minis: Kobolds, Dragon, and Drakes

kobolds

I’ve been making my own stand-up paper miniatures for D&D, so I figure I should share them with people! A few months ago I produced a bunch of PCs, and now I’m working on monsters.

First up is everyone’s favorite level-one nemesis: the Kobold! And I’ve given them some support with a couple of drakes, and a dragon who controls them behind-the-scenes.

(Also, I understand that these minis might be useful during the first part of Hoard of the Dragon Queen, if you’re running it this week).

Just download them from the links below and print them out on cardstock. Then cut along the thick lines, fold along the thin lines, and tape them together!
